さてさて弾丸20都府県の旅 宮島編でございます。
Well, I’m coming to Miyajima on a Western Japan local trip.

この日は天気も良くて最高でした。
The weather was nice and feels nice.

狛犬と鳥居（鳥居をくぐることは神聖な場所に立ち入ることを意味します。）
Guardian dog & Torii gate (It’s a gateway of a shrine and passing the gateway means that you are entering the divine space.)
横には海が広がります。
The sea spreads to the side.
島には鹿も生息しています。
Deer also live on the island.
〜千畳閣〜
~Senjokaku~
宮島と言えば厳島神社が有名ですが、その前にこちらの”千畳閣”に寄ってみます。
Miyajima is famous for Itsukushima Shrine, but before that, let’s stop by “Senjokaku”.

そして千畳閣を通り抜けると五重塔がありました。
And when I passed through Senjokaku, ther was a five-storied pagoda.
〜厳島神社〜
~Itsukushima Shrine~
というわけで、ぐるりと回って厳島神社の入り口へ戻ってきました。
So, I went around and came back to the entrance of Itsukushima Shrine.
境内入り口の注連縄（神聖な場所を区切り、邪を払うための縄）
Shimenawa (sacred shrine rope. It is used for separating a holy place from other unclean places.)
at the entrance of the shrine precincts.

Purification place
客（まろうど）神社。神道は多神教であるため、1つの建物に神々を祀る拝殿がたくさんあります。
Maroudo shrine. Since Shinto-ism is polytheistic, there are many halls of pray that enshrine the gods in one building.

The vermilion was bright.

さて、厳島神社を出てさらにプラプラと歩きます。
Then, I left Itsukushima Shrine and walked around Miyajima.
