西日本ローカル旅 第18話「大阪」
~Western Japan local trip Ep.18 “Osaka”~

この度の旅行も8日目に突入し、舞台は近畿地方へ戻ってきたところでございます。
This trip has also entered the 8th day, and the stage has just returned to the Kinki region.

大阪は2泊ほどする予定でおりますが、見所や食べどころが多すぎますゆえどんな旅になるのやら。
I’m planning to stay in Osaka for about 2 nights,
but I wonder what kind of trip it will be because there are too many attractions and restaurants.

それでは8日目、大阪編スタートです。
Then, on the 8th day, the episode “Osaka” will start.

〜大阪〜
~Osaka~

昨夜は眠るのが遅かった故、ちょっと遅めの昼12時にホテルを出発です。
I slept late last night, so I left the hotel a little late at 12:00 noon.

ホテル近くの日本橋駅から恵美須町駅へ向かい、まずは大阪のシンボルであります通天閣を見学です。
From Nippombashi Station near the hotel, head to Ebisucho Station and first visit Tsutenkaku, the symbol of Osaka.

地下鉄に乗り込み、一駅で到着。
Board the subway and arrive at one station.

この日は大阪市内をぐるぐる回るだけでしたので、青春18切符は使用せず、通常運賃で移動です。
On this day, I only went around the city of Osaka,
so I didn’t use the Seishun 18 ticket, and I traveled at the regular fare.

電車を下車して地上に上がると、すぐ目の前に通天閣が見えます。
When I got off the train and went up to the ground, I saw Tsutenkaku right in front of me.

すぐに通天閣に行きたいという気持ちを抑えて、駅前で昼食をとることにしました。
Suppressing the urge to go to Tsutenkaku immediately, I decided to have lunch in front of the station.

ちょうどいい具合に駅前に大阪名物かすうどんの立ち食いうどん屋がありました。
Just in front of the station, there was a udon restaurant of Osaka’s famous “Kasu Udon”.

新世界 恵比寿屋さんでございます。
That is the ShIn-sekai(Sin-sekai mean is new world. And It is a place name in Osaka.) “Ebisuya“.

こちらが名物のかすうどん。「かす」とはうどんの上に乗っている牛の小腸を炒め揚げたものです。
This is the famous Kasuudon. “Kasu” is stir-fried beef tripe, on top of udon noodles.

うどんを食べ終わったお汁を、こちらのワサビ飯にかけて召し上がるのがこのお店の鉄板メニューだそうです。
It is said that the standard menu of this restaurant is to sprinkle udon soup over this wasabi rice.

大阪名物とうたうだけあって、本当においしかったです。
It was really delicious because it was a specialty of Osaka.

お腹もいい感じに膨れたところで、通天閣へと向かいます。
When I’m full, I’m heading to Tsutenkaku.

〜通天閣〜
~Tsuten-kaku~

通天閣の入り口は、地元のカラオケ屋さんのような造りでした。
The entrance to Tsutenkaku was like a local karaoke shop.

東京タワーのような仰々しさを想像していたのですが、こういったアットホームな感じはさすが人情の街・大阪と言ったところでしょうか。
I imagined the flashiness of Tokyo Tower, but I think that such a cozy atmosphere is exactly the city of humanity, Osaka.

そして、通天閣地下入り口からエレベーターに乗り込み一気に展望台へ。
Then, I got on the elevator from the underground entrance of Tsutenkaku and headed for the observatory.

人生初のビリケンさんとのご対面でございます。
This is the first meeting with Billiken in my life.

ビリケンさんはとてもキュートでしたが、コロナの影響で足の裏に触れてはいけないとのことでした。
Billiken was very cute, but due to the influence of Corona, it was forbidden to touch the soles of the Billiken.

この日は天気が曇り空だったため、展望台からの眺めはちょっと残念な感じでした。
The view from the observatory was a little disappointing because the weather was cloudy on that day.

一通り景色を楽しみ、通天閣は階段で昇り降りできるようでしたので、階段で降ることに。
Enjoying the scenery, Tsutenkaku seemed to be able to go up and down the stairs, so I decided to go down the stairs.

そしてなんと、エレベーターでは通り過ぎてしまうであろう、通天閣庭苑なる場所を発見しました。
And I found a place called Tsutenkaku Garden, which would be passed by an elevator.

なんともラッキー。これもビリケンさんにお祈りしたからでしょうか？笑
I’m so lucky. Is this also because I prayed to Mr. Billiken? lol

そして、通天閣から天王寺まで散歩がてら歩いて向かいます。
Then, walk from Tsutenkaku to Tennoji.

お花見客がたくさんいらっしゃいました。
There were many cherry blossom viewing visitors.

歩くこと20分ほどで天王寺駅に到着。地下鉄に乗って谷町四丁目駅へ向かいます。
Arrived at Tennoji station in about 20 minutes on foot. Take the subway to Tanimachi 4-chome Station.

〜大阪城〜
~Osaka castle~

谷町四丁目駅から歩くこと10分、本日昼間のメインであります大阪城公園に到着。
A 10-minute walk from Tanimachi 4-chome Station, I arrived at Osaka Castle Park, which is the main daytime today.

大阪城公園はとにかく広くて、緑豊かなとても良い公園でした。
Osaka Castle Park was a very nice park with a lot of greenery.

公園内を散策しながら、ようやく大阪城の城門に到着です。
While strolling in the park, I finally arrived at the gate of Osaka Castle.

そして、遠目に大阪城天守閣が見えてまいりました。
And I could see the castle tower of Osaka Castle from a distance.

それでは大阪城の見学とまいります。
Let’s take a tour of Osaka Castle.

〜大阪城〜

天守閣入り口には昔に使われていた砲台がありました。
At the entrance to the castle tower, there was a battery that was used in the past.

中は撮影可能エリアと禁止エリアに分かれていました。
The inside was divided into a shooting area and a prohibited area.

こちらは大坂夏の陣の模型。
This is a model of the Osaka summer wars.

やはり大阪は虎が好きなようです。
After all Osaka seems to like tigers.

と言った具合で大阪城を足早に見学し終え、時刻は16時。
I finished the tour of Osaka Castle quickly, and the time was 16:00.

この後の予定はアメ村方面に足を伸ばす予定ですが、それはまた次回のお話しです。
The plan after this is to go to the direction of Amerika village, but that is the next story.
