~Western Japan local trip Ep.23 “Kyoto to Mie”~

旅の10日目は6時半に起床。この日は京都から名古屋へバス移動をし、友人と待ち合わせの後、友人の案内で三重県は伊勢神宮を巡る予定となっておりました。
Wake up at 6:30 AM on the 10th day of the trip. On this day, I moved by high way bus from Kyoto to Nagoya, and after meeting with a friend, and then visit Ise Jingu in Mie Prefecture.

〜京都〜
~Kyoto~

朝の7時半にホテルを出発し、眠い目をこすりながら京都駅へと向かいます。
Leave the hotel at 7:30 in the morning and head to Kyoto Station, rubbing my sleepy eyes.

朝の京都駅は混みあっていて、ビジネスマンの方達が行き交っておりました。
Kyoto station was crowded in the morning, and businessmen were coming and going.

名古屋まで高速バスでの移動のため、しっかりと朝食を食べることに。
Considering the long-distance travel after this, I decided to eat breakfast well.

駅構内に立ち食いうどんのお店を見つけたので、こちらの「つくもうどん」で腹ごしらえしました。
I found a stand-up udon restaurant inside the station, so I ate at this “Tsukumodon”.

いりこ出汁が効いたスープに、具材もたっぷりで大満足でした。
I was very satisfied with the Niboshi soup stock and plenty of ingredients.

お腹を満たしたところで駅構内を抜け、京都タワー近くの高速バス乗り場へと向かいます。
As I was full, I passed through the station and headed for the highway bus stop near Kyoto Tower.

天気も良く、京都のシンボルが輝いていました。
The weather was fine and the symbol of Kyoto was shining.

これから約2時間半かけて名古屋へ向かいます。
I’m heading to Nagoya for about two and a half hours.

名古屋までの途中休憩に多賀サービスエリアへ寄りました。
The highway bus stopped at the Taga service area for a break on the way to Nagoya.

桜が見事に咲き誇っており、素晴らしい景色でした。
The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and it was a wonderful view.

それから車内でうとうとと仮眠しつつ定刻どおりに名古屋へ到着。
After that, I finally arrived in Nagoya on time while taking a nap in the bus.

友人とも無事に合流し、これからさらに2時間かけて三重県にあります伊勢神宮へと向かいます。
I joined my friends and head to Ise Jingu in Mie prefecture for another 2 hours.

〜三重〜
~Mie~

友人の車でドライブを楽しみながら三重県へと到着しました。
I arrived in Mie prefecture while enjoying a drive in my friend’s car.

伊勢神宮は外宮と内宮が有名ですが、案内人（友人）に言わせると参拝の順序があるらしく、まずは神路通りを通って月夜見宮へと向かいました。
Ise Jingu is famous for Geku and Naiku, but according to the guide (friend), it seems that there is an order of worship, so first I headed to Tsukiyominomiya through Kamiji-dori.

神路通とは、外宮の裏参道と月夜見宮を結ぶ道のことです。
Kamiji-dori is the road that connects the back approach to the Geku and Tsukiyominomiya.

神様がお通りになるのを邪魔しないために、道の真ん中は歩かないように目印がされていました。
In order not to prevent God from passing by, there was a mark in the middle of the road not to walk.

神路通を抜けた先に、月夜見宮が見えてきました。
After passing through Kamiji-dori, I saw Tsukiyominomiya.

境内は緑豊かでとても清々しい空気が漂っておりました。
The precincts were lush and had a very refreshing air.

伊勢神宮の全ての拝殿は、20年に1度必ず新しく造り替える（式年遷宮）のだそうです。
All the halls of worship at Ise Jingu are to be rebuilt once every 20 years (Shikinen Sengu).

そのため豪奢な造りはしておりません。
Therefore, it is not made luxuriously.

ですが、日本の神社の本宗（すべての神社の上に立つ神社）であり、時代の最先端を行く神社なのであります。
But it is at the top of all shrines and at the forefront of the times.

というわけで、次回はその伊勢神宮の外宮、そして内宮までの旅をお届けいたします。
Next time, I will deliver a trip to the Geku and Naiku of Ise Jingu.
