西日本ローカル旅 第22話「伏見→京都駅」
~Western Japan local trip Ep.22 “Fushimi to Kyoto Station”~

前回は宇治にて世界遺産の平等院を見学し、今回の旅はJR稲荷駅を目指すところからスタートです。
Last time, I visited Byodo-in Temple, a World Heritage Site, in Uji, and this trip starts from aiming for JR Inari Station.

お目当ては千本鳥居で有名な伏見稲荷大社でございますが、果たしてどんな神社なのでしょうか。
The purpose is Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine, which is famous for the thousand Torii, but I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of shrine it is.

まずは電車に乗りJR稲荷駅へと向かいます。
First, take the train to JR Inari Station.

20分ほどで稲荷駅に到着。駅のホーム裏手の桜が綺麗でした。
Arrived at Inari station in about 20 minutes. The cherry blossoms behind the platform were beautiful.

JR稲荷駅は伏見稲荷大社の目の前だからか鳥居と同じく朱色が目を引く外観でした。
JR Inari Station was in front of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, so it had an eye-catching vermilion appearance like the torii gate.

おどけるようなお稲荷様と桜が印象的な入り口でした。
The entrance was impressive with the funny Inari-sama and the cherry blossoms.

そして鳥居をくぐり中へと進むとすぐに本殿が現れました。
And as soon as I passed through the torii gate and went inside, the main shrine appeared.

左右のお稲荷様はそれぞれ姿と形が違い、口に咥えている物も鎮座されます場所によって違います。
The left and right Inari-sama have different appearances and shapes, and the ones in the mouth differ depending on where they sat.

本殿向かって左奥へと、更に鳥居をくぐり進んでまいります。
Go through the torii gate on the left side of the main shrine and proceed further.

本殿裏手の御神馬。
Shinme(God’s horse) behind the main shrine.

そこから更に更にと鳥居をくぐって進んで行きます。
From there, go through the torii gate and go further.

するとようやく現れますのが、かの有名な千本鳥居なのでございます。
Then, the famous Thousand Torii will finally appear.

千本鳥居はひたすら山の奥の奥へと続いています。
The Thousand Torii continues to the depths of the mountain.

ひたすらに続く鳥居に感動をしながら進んでいくと、いつの間にか山の中腹に来ておりました。
I was impressed by the torii gate that continued, and before I knew it, I was on the mountainside.

振り返ると夕焼けが非常に綺麗で、心が洗われるようでした。
Looking back, the sunset was very beautiful and it seemed to wash my heart.

それでもなお続く千本鳥居。
Even so, the Thousand Torii continues.

山道の階段を登りながら、ひたすらに進んでいきます。
While climbing the stairs on the mountain road, I went on earnestly.

そして、ようやく頂上である一ノ峰に到着。
Finally, I arrived at the summit, Ichinomine.

荷物を背負ったままの山登りだったので汗だくでしたが、頂上に着いた時の達成感はひとしおでした。
I was sweating because I was climbing a mountain with my luggage, but when I reached the summit, I felt a sense of accomplishment.

旅の無事を感謝し、暗くなり始めた山道を下山していきます。
I am grateful for the safety of my trip and will go down the mountain road that has begun to darken.

途中に現れた猫がなんとも愛らしかったです。
The cat that appeared on the way was so lovely.

陽が落ちて薄暗くなり始めた街並みもまた綺麗でした。
The cityscape, where the sun went down and began to dim, was also beautiful.

降り終えて本殿に戻る頃には辺りもすっかり暗くなっていました。
By the time I finished descending the mountain and returned to the main shrine, the area was completely dark.

暗い中で見る伏見稲荷大社もまた荘厳でした。
The Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine seen in the dark was also majestic.

鳥居をずっと見ていたからか、どうしてもコカコーラを飲みたくなってしまい購入。
Perhaps because I had been watching the torii for a long time, I really wanted to drink Coca-Cola, so I bought it.

なんと京都限定モデル缶でした。コカコーラさん、本当に商売上手ですね笑
It was a Kyoto limited model can. Coca-Cola is really good at business lol

コーラで喉を潤したところで電車に乗り、今晩の宿であります京都駅へと向かいます。
After being healed by cola, I took a train to Kyoto Station, where the inn is located tonight.

くたくたになりながらも京都駅に到着。
I was tired, but I managed to get to Kyoto station.

宿へ行く前に、どうしても食べたかった京都の老舗ラーメン屋さん”本家 第一旭 本店“へと向かいます。
Before going to the inn, head to the long-established ramen shop “Honke Daiichi Asahi Main Store” in Kyoto, which I really wanted to eat.

ちょうど夕食の時間だったからか、お店前には列が出来ておりました。
Perhaps because it was dinner time, there was a line in front of the shop.

20分ほど待って席へと案内され、まずはビールを注文。
After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was guided to my seat and ordered beer first.

そして、ラーメン大と餃子を注文いたしました。
Then I ordered a large serving of ramen and dumplings.

醤油ベースでありながらコッテリとしたスープに縮れた麺が程よく絡んで抜群の美味しさでした。
The soy sauce-based thick soup was moderately entwined with the rolled noodles and was very delicious.

上に乗っているネギは京都産の九条ネギだそうです。一度で大ファンになりました。ごちそうさまでした。
The green onions on the top are Kujo green onions from Kyoto. I became a big fan at once. Thank you for the meal.

ラーメンを食べ終えてホテルへ向かう途中、京都タワーが見えました。
On the way to the hotel after eating ramen, I saw Kyoto Tower.

この日は山道で疲れ切っていたため夜の探索はせず、このままホテルで就寝いたしました。
I was exhausted on the mountain road that day, so I didn’t explore the night and went to bed at the hotel.

9日目の旅の費用（おおよそ）＝10,000円（電車賃1500円 + 黒門市場1,000円 + 昼食1,000円 + 宇治1,000円 + 伏見稲荷150円 + 夕食1,500 + 宿代3,800円）
Travel costs (about) = ¥10K (Train ticket ¥1.5K + Kuromon Market ¥1K + Lunch ¥1K + Uji ¥1K + Fushimi Inari ¥0.15K + Hotel ¥3.8K )

10日目は愛知へと移動し友人と合流の上で三重県へと向かいます。いったいどこへ向かうのか？それは次回のお楽しみに。
On the 10th day, I will move to Aichi prefecture and head to Mie prefecture with my friends. What kind of trip will it be? I’m looking forward to the next time.
