~Western Japan local trip Ep.10 “Takachiho Gorge”~
旅の4日目は延岡の高千穂峡へ来ております。
On the 4th day of local trip, I’m in Takachiho Gorge, Nobeoka.
高千穂神社、そして真名井の滝を見て、さらに進んで行きます。
After seeing Takachiho Shrine and Manai Falls, I went further.
それでは日本神話の舞台、高千穂峡をご覧くださいませ。第10話、スタートです♪
Let’s take a look at Takachiho Gorge, the stage of Japanese mythology. Episode 10 is the start ♪
河原沿いの遊歩道を進んで行きます。
Follow the promenade along the riverbank.

七ツヶ池

仙人の屏風岩
Hermit’s rock like a screen.
切り立った岩肌が屏風のようです。
The steep rock surface is like a folding screen.
槍飛（高千穂峡で川幅が一番狭い場所）
Spear flight (It is the narrowest part of the Takachiho Gorge.)
神硯の岩
God’s inkstone
橋を渡って、さらに進みます。
Cross the bridge and continue.
九州自然歩道
Kyushu Nature Trail
階段がひたすら続いています。
The stairs continue all the time.

山道を登り切ると高千穂神社に到着しました。
Climb the mountain road, I arrived at Takachiho Shrine.
1時間ほどで高千穂峡を廻り終え、高千穂バスセンターへ戻ります。
I finished sightseeing in Takachiho Gorge in about an hour, and returned to the Takachiho Bus Center.
