~Western Japan local trip Ep.6 “Dazaifu”~
旅の3日目です。本日は午前中に太宰府天満宮へお参りして、午後から高速バスで鹿児島へ移動でございます。
It’s the third day of the trip. Today I will visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in the morning and move to Kagoshima by highway bus in the afternoon.
さてさてどんな景色が見れるのでしょうか？それではスタートでございます。

10:01にホテルをチェックアウト
Check out the hotel at 10:01 am.
まずはホテル最寄りの西鉄福岡（天神）駅へ向かいます。
First, head to Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, which is the closest to the hotel.
途中に神社を発見。警固（けご）神社だそうです。
I found a shrine on the way. It’s a Kego shrine.

そして神社を抜けるとすぐに駅が見つかりました。
And as soon as I passed through the shrine, I found the station.

遅めの朝食と早めの昼食を兼ねてラーメン屋さんへ入ることに。
I decided to go to a ramen-noodle shop for a late breakfast and an early lunch.

お腹も膨れたところで、いざ天満様へお参りです。
When I’m full, I’m going to visit Tenmangu.

太宰府駅から天満宮へと続く参道。

志賀社、海の安全の守護神として祀られているそうです。
Shiga Shrine is enshrined as the guardian deity of sea safety.

この鳥居をくぐれば拝殿です。

この日は道真公の月遅れ命日で、春季大祭の神事が行われておりました。
This day was the anniversary of Michizane’s passing, and the Shinto ritual of the Spring Festival was held.

お参りを済ませ太宰府をあとにし、高速バスの乗車時間までの時間潰しに薬院駅へ向かいます。
After worshiping, leave Dazaifu and head to Yakuin Station and I spend time until the highway bus boarding time.
